Park entry is free, but guide fees are mandatory. Local guides charge from €30 to €50 per day. All-inclusive 2-day summit packages typically range from €200 to €350 per person.
Yes. Hiring a licensed local guide is legally mandatory for all foreign trekkers entering the Mount Toubkal summit zone. You cannot hike it alone.
No special park permit is required. However, you must present a valid physical passport at official police checkpoints on the trail to prove your identity.

Had an amazing time going through the Atlas mountains. It was hard work but incredibly worth it! Big thanks to our guides who were good, and the great group we had!
Really enjoyed our trip, the guides in particular made it for us. The route, pace, accommodation, food, all of it was organised so well! They worked incredibly hard for us. They were up before us getting breakfast ready, would serve us lunch then would serve us dinner and clear away at the end of the day. Hardcore dudes.
We had a great time on our tour! Our guide Abderriham Didi and our driver Abde were both incredibly helpful throughout the day. The tour itself was very interesting and well-organized. Highly recommended
